Updates on SEOmated and Linkwheel 101

December 5, 2009 · Print This Article

Hi folks!

Just some updates to you guys who have been waiting very patiently..

Some good news and bad news though.

Bad news first (I always prefer to end on a positive note..!)

SEOmated SEO Software

While development of SEOmated goes on, I may want to simply tell you guys that my requirements for SEOmated may be too large for a perfect release.

The technology and work behind it is humongous (so as to help YOU make YOUR work as minimal as possible!).

As such, not all features I listed out on the main page will be implemented in the first release, if at all.

However, I will want SEOmated to have the basic core functions to be there for a first release..while I will continue to add more features as the weeks/months go by.

The software will continue to build itself, and add more features as it goes by.

You may be thinking: “So how can SEOmated compete with the big guns out there? Why should anyone even take a look at it?”

Why indeed! Because of 3 letters: USP

Unique Selling Points

The reason for the concept/idea of SEOmated is simple: Current software, though powerful, still display fundamental flaws that are nagging users.

So what are SEOmated’s greatest unique selling points?

  1. As much as possible, SEOmated will run in the background, out of sight – so you can maintain control of your computer.
  2. As much as possible, SEOmated’s scheduler will allow you to SET & FORGET the software – so you do not have to manage it every hour or everyday..it is truly automation at its best.

That is the two greatest USP for SEOmated.

So why is it bad news?

Because the technology for it and the methods of doing it are not that obvious OR easy.

It is in fact, very costly.

That is why I used the phrase, ‘As much as possible’ for the two USPs above.

Ready for the good news?

Well….with my determination to NEVER give up, I have indeed came up with numerous solutions that can be implemented to continue development of this 2 features for SEOmated SEO software. :)

And no, I shan’t bore you with technical jargon here..that’s for me and my developers to discuss and mull over. :)

ETA for SEOmated is not anytime soon. In fact, expect a 2010 announcement.

Sorry to disappoint, folks!

Moving on..

Linkwheel 101

Those in the SEOmated mailing list should know about this: I have been busying myself with a series of videos that aim to teach you how to use linkwheels appropriately for your SEO strategy.

I managed to get about 9 reviewers to aid me in feedback too.
(And only about 4 guys replied..the other 5 guys, I’m still waiting..;))

..well, looks like I have yet to improve much from videos! Linkwheel 101’s reception isn’t that great.

It’s flaws included (and is not exhausted here):

  • Rapid speech and lack of good voice pronunciation and voice tone
  • Rather unstructured provision of concepts and ideas
  • Long winded and repeititive of words
  • Not very interesting overall (uh oh!)
  • May or may not be user-friendly AND newbie-friendly

From the deepest of my heart, a great THANK YOU to the reviewers (well, those that actually gave me feedback) for their excellent and detailed feedback!

I appreciate it, and am VERY sorry for putting you through those long and uninteresting videos!

The good news for this?

Again, my determined attitude has prevailed! I will now aim to correct it by:

  • Re-planning the whole package to present the concepts and ideas more clearly
  • Re-capture and re-voice the entire thing, with better voice enthusiasm and voice tone
  • I will keep reminding myself to speak clearly and slowly
  • I am going to add more value into this package by:
  • Addition of more indepth keyword research, including finding out the true competition
  • Addition of getting more keyword terms and variations
  • Addition of bots that can automate the above two for you easily
  • Addition of several solid backlinks (100+ solid links)
  • Addition of ‘Behind the Shoulder’, step-by-step, exactly what I do to rank my site high. And the website I am going to use? THIS SITE!

That’s right folks!

SEOmated.com is a rather new site, and I will be attempting to use my SEO techniques to rank SEOmated.com AND this blog high for several keyword terms on Google.

And I will show you step-by-step what I will do.

That’s all from me folks!

It has been a long (and awaited) update. Have any comments? Please use the comment box below!

Aiming to serve you guys better,
Jeff

Oh, I’ll be expanding more into the in-depth optimizing of your website too.

With the addition of all these materials, I will probably rename it. Probably ‘Linkwheel SEO Strategy” or something else.

    Cheers

    Hey Jeff,

I wouldn’t worry about trying to create the perfect video package. So long as the basics are OK, re-understanding, easy to follow along etc, it will be fine.

If the content is solid information that will really help improve the way people use or decide to use link wheels, the package will be fine.

I mean really, you’ve seen the quality of some of those so-called hot selling WSO I’m sure. My cat could have created a better package than some of those. But, a lot of the info was good even if the presentation itself was so so.

What people really need is a simple, step by step process that works, over-deliver, provide real value and they will pretty much forgive anything else. They are marketers, not grammar gurus and could care less, provided that they can follow along easily, that’s all that matters.

I’m not suggesting that you just throw it up and hope for the best, and while perfection is a worthy goal for sure, it just needs to address a few of the points mentioned and it will be fine and better than a lot of those WSO that I referred too.

Onwards and upwards my friend. The content is good and it will be fine with a few minor tweaks.

    Cheers,

    Mike

    Jeff,

Sorry for taking so long to send you my review. I sent it to you by email awhile ago. I agree with Mike. I think you have a good product that even in its present form beats a lot of WSOs.

Just basically tighten it up a little bit & make a few changes but don’t beat your head against a wall too much over it.

It doesn’t need to be 100% perfect to be very valuable and for people to get a lot out of it.

Anyway, I hope my review helps and again sorry it took me so long.

    Best regards,
    Louis

    Hello Louis,

No worries with the time taken! Better late than never. :)

No offense taken too, so no worries!

Have read your email and your very detailed, point by point review!

Would like to extend my heartfelt gratitude for taking the effort to doing so. :)

Don’t worry, I’m most definitely enjoying doing up this package PLUS aiming to over deliver!

It sure isn’t a chore when you enjoy your work..

    Thanks!
    Jeff
